History
Spruce University was founded by Anali Spruce in 1877. We are located in Colorado and surrounded by beautiful blue spruce trees. The original purpose of Spruce University was to teach the children of Estes Park, Colorado. Spruce Univeristy gained more students as the city grew, allowing our school to advance past basic education into a school for higher education beyond high-school level.
Our mission is to provide education to all, not just those in Estes Park. From our international online classes, to our trade and technical institute, everyone is welcome.
